La carta comienza siendo de agradecimiento por haber recibido contestación a la primera misiva, en la cual se preguntaba por el soldado Sante Gobbetti, prisionero en Sigmundsherberg (razón por la cual ambos expedientes se relacionan). Después, la peticionaria aprovecha para preguntar por la suerte de un segundo militar, el soldado Domenico Meletani, que falleció el16 de Junio de 1916 en el Monte Lemerle.
