Gentilhombre de Casa y Boca en la Real Casa
Antes de entrar a trabajar en la Real Casa tuvo varios destinos:
Primeramente fue aspriante de la clase de segunda del Ministerio de Fomento (1881).
En segundo lugar, fue escribiente temporero de la Sesretaría de la junta Consultiva de Obras Públicas, de Caminos, Canales y Fuertos (1882-1883)
En tercer lugar, oficial de cuarta clase de la Administración civil y escribiente del Ministerio de Gobernación (1883-1884)
Posteriomente fue escribiente del establecimiento pericial de Valladolid (1884-1886)
En quinto lugar, oficial de cuarta clase de Administración Civil detinado al Gobierno de la Provincia de Cáceres (1887), siendo trasladado a Cádiz (1887-1889) y posterioemnte oficial de tercera clase de Administración civil destinado en el Gobierno Civil de Huelva (1889-1890), para finalmente concluir en San Sebastián (1890).
