Hija del virrey de Nápoles y conde de Miranda.
Ingresó en el Convento de la Encarnación en 1611, aportando como dote el Relicario de San Pantaleón.
Tras la muerte de la madre Mariana de San José en 1638 es elegida Priora del convento, e inmediatamente comienza a promover la recogida de testimonios acerca de las santas virtudes de su predecesora.
